Artscape Open House
Three blocks south of Artscape at the corner of West Madison Street and Park Avenue, on Saturday July 20th the First & Franklin Presbyterian Church will host a free open house in their Victorian era Gothic-style sanctuary. Join a brief tour, take photos of this restored Baltimore landmark, or sit and meditate. Items of interest include the Ribbon Project as a memorial to fallen service members, magnificent architecture, stained glass including three windows by Tiffany and plaster decoration, and a walk through the church’s role in our nation’s history and its ministry to the city today. The magnificent 275 foot spire, the tallest in the city, marks the spot.
