Adult Education: Exploring Sacred Architecture (Series)

This Sunday at Adult Education, John McLucas leads us in the final installment of a series on Sacred Architecture. All are welcome, whether or not they attended Part 1 or 2. Adult Education takes place at 9:00am on Sunday mornings, in Reid Chapel or on Zoom. Zoom links will be sent via email on Sunday morning. John McLucas shares, “This week we will discuss our own Sanctuary building as a worship space, a work of sacred art, and a message to our community. Does it promote a sense of order, of majesty? Does it open us to moments of mystical communion with God and each other?  Does it contribute to our life and growth in our faith?  Is it a “thin place” where the divine and the earthly come closer together?  Can we create a sense of welcome within its walls?  Please bring your memories and insights to an open conversation about the Sanctuary.”
