Poetry & Prose Reading

Featuring members and friends of First & Franklin Presbyterian Church: Dominic (Dom) Guida, Stephen Hollaway and John McLucas. Each will read some selections of recent writings.

Dom is an instructor in The Writing Programs at Johns Hopkins. He’s an MFA graduate of JHU and did his undergrad at NYU.

Stephen is a poet about to finish his MFA at the University of Baltimore. Among his recent work is a sequence called Tin Ear Sonnets dealing with hearing loss and tinnitus as real events and metaphor.

John has recently had his third novel published since retiring as an Italian professor at Towson University. The Boxer’s Mask is set among expats in Rome and their affection for handsome Roman actor.

There will be a Q&A and some light refreshments after.
