The Honorable James Frederick Schneider Memorial Service
THE MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR
THE HONORABLE JAMES FREDERICK SCHNEIDER
IS SCHEDULED FOR
WEDNESDAY, 10 A.M., APRIL 15, 2020
Dear First & Franklin Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that The Honorable James Frederick Schneider died on April 6, 2020, at 9:37 p.m. He was 72 years old. He was surrounded with family and prayers and the affection and love of so many who knew him in life. The family asks for your prayers during this season of grieving.
Jim, as he was known to most of us, was born on November 18, 1947. He joined the First & Franklin Presbyterian Church in 1978. He served as an officer for the congregation as well as our church historian. Jim’s love for the First & Franklin Church was more than casual — he delved deep into its archival memories, with the affection of one who cares for and seeks to preserve the story of his family. One of my fondest memories of Jim was sitting in his living room, talking about the history of the First & Franklin congregation. Even though his health was deteriorating, he radiated affection for this faith community.
By all, he will be remembered as kind-hearted, tender, with a ready smile and a gentle spirit. In death, Jim completed his baptism and is now united with God in perfect communion.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Marzetta, and two daughters, Laura and Caroline.
Condolences may be sent to:
Ms. Susan Marzetta
