Labyrinth Walk

After worship on November 8, all are invited to bring a lunch to Backus House, and then carpool to the labyrinth on 33rd Street next to the YMCA around 1pm, weather permitting. Featured at the former site of the historic Memorial Stadium (on 33rd Street – between Greenmount Avenue and Loch Raven Blvd) are flowering gardens, groves of trees, benches, a labyrinth, and most uniquely, a bell tower watching over the entire space, calling the community to gather and reflect. We will bring ideas for meditations and rituals for use during the labyrinth walk. We will also share information on how labyrinths were used in spiritual practices.
